Ying Zhang

Ying Zhang is the Senior Director of Regional Strategic Projects at Orlando Health, leveraging over 19 years of healthcare experience to enhance strategic initiatives across the organization. In this pivotal role, Ying is responsible for leading the development and implementation of key projects that align with the health system’s long-term objectives, focusing on innovation, operational improvement, and sustainable growth.

Her career began in Shanghai, China, whereas a physical therapist, she established the country’s first foster care program, significantly impacting the lives of hundreds of orphans by placing them into loving homes and overseeing a successful adoptions program for five years. Ying’s diverse experience also spans several leadership roles in revenue management, physician practice, and outpatient imaging centers.

Ying holds an MBA from St. Thomas University and is an active member of the American College of Health Executives. Committed to the welfare of children, she currently serves as a board member for the Children’s Home Society and has previously served on the board of the Chinese American Association of Central Florida, reflecting her deep commitment to community service and healthcare leadership.
