President’s Message

This year, the Asian American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida (AACC) celebrates 39 years and a new theme:  THE GOLDEN HORIZON.

With nearly four decades of serving as a place and space where Asian American businesses and leaders can connect and grow, we stand together facing a world that is ever-evolving both locally and globally but continues to offer the opportunity to Dream. Believe. Achieve.

To that end, we are encouraging connections in new / old ways to continue to foster personal and professional growth.

  • AACC is currently introducing our new website with features to easier navigate Membership, Sponsorship, Volunteer, and Event Sponsor Request Opportunities, as well as keep up with upcoming events, developments, and opportunities that are relevant to you and your business, including  access to highlight your individual and company news (i.e., grand openings, expansions, relocations, industry awards), and a resource for employee, vendor, resource and collaboration needs.

  • In the first quarter of 2025, we welcomed the Year of the Snake by collaborating with our members and community partners in annual and new events such as Celebrate Lunar, Avalon Spring Fest, Dragon Parade, and a Spring Business Mixer.  We also welcomed our newly elected Board of Directors and recognized our Corporate Sponsors and community leaders in a Corporate Appreciation and Board Installation Luncheon.

  • In April, AACC co-hosted our first-ever Pickleball Tournament, in an Asian-American owned venue, where we welcomed and celebrated players and spectators of many cultures and offered a different type of networking, with the generous support of ADP (Corporate Sponsor), and volunteers that included certified coaches, Vietnamese American Student Association (VASA), and our Board members.

  • In May, AACC offers support to the Greater Orlando Asian American Bar Association in hosting Career Pathways in the Law to give students the opportunity to tour the Orange County Courthouse and hear from judges, courthouse staff, and legal practitioners regarding their pathways in the law and how students can shape their own paths.

  • And we continue to celebrate the many cultures and sources of strength within the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community during AACC's AAPI Heritage Celebration Month in May — with a return to the Rotunda at Orlando City Hall.

There is more ahead, with more updates and save-the-dates, including October 18, 2025 for AACC's 14th Annual Awards Gala - The Golden Horizon, which will celebrate both the quiet changemakers and notable individuals and businesses who continue to shape, lead, and impact our community.

We welcome you to join and explore AACC and help us advance and strengthen the spirit of entrepreneurship and leadership within our Central Florida Asian American community and beyond.
